NO MASKING. NO COVER-UPS.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND
FRESHER GEAR.

Sweat itself doesn’t smell. It’s the microbes feeding on the damp your kit never fully dries out of. AFTERPLAY is built around one idea — go after the microbes and the smell never turns up.

POWERED BY TEA TREE

Tea tree oil has been studied for decades for its antibacterial and antifungal activity. AFTERPLAY’s formulation is designed to work on the microbes behind the smell, not just the smell itself.

GOES AFTER ODOUR, DOESN’T MASK IT

No perfume, no cover-up. AFTERPLAY is designed to target the odour-causing microbes at the source, so your gear comes back smelling like nothing rather than something else.

HELPS KEEP BUILD-UP AWAY

Used after every session, it’s designed to keep microbes and trapped moisture from turning into that lingering smell — so gear stays fresher for longer between washes.

THE ACTIVE

NEW ZEALAND
TEA TREE.

The range is built on a hero ingredient: a tea tree extract from New Zealand. It’s the same plant that’s been studied for decades for what it does to bacteria and fungi — the two things that turn sweat into smell.

NATURAL EXTRACT

Distilled from the leaves of the tea tree rather than synthesised in a tank. One plant, doing one job — keeping gear honest without harsh chemicals.

STUDIED AGAINST BACTERIA

Tea tree extract has been studied for decades against the bacteria that set up in damp kit and break sweat down into smell. It’s chosen to work on the cause, not the symptom.

STUDIED AGAINST FUNGI

The same extract has been studied for activity against mould and mildew — the reason a bag left shut for a week comes out smelling sour.

ODOUR, NOT MASKED

No perfume layer laid over the top. The aim is simple: deal with the microbes, and there is simply nothing left to smell.

THE OTHER ACTIVE

ORGANOSILANE
QUATERNARY.

Alongside the tea tree sits the formulation’s other main active: octadecyldimethyl trihydroxysilylpropyl ammonium chloride — a member of the organosilane quaternary ammonium compound family, a class of antimicrobials widely used in surface protectants.

THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT

Octadecyldimethyl trihydroxysilylpropyl ammonium chloride. A long name for an organosilane quaternary ammonium compound — an antimicrobial class used for decades in textile and surface treatments.

BONDS TO THE SURFACE

Organosilane quats are known for bonding to the surface they’re sprayed on rather than washing straight off — which is why they’re chosen for gear that can’t go in the wash.

WORKS BETWEEN SPRAYS

Because it stays put on fabric, foam and synthetics, it’s designed to keep working on odour-causing microbes between sessions, not just on the day you spray.

TEAMED WITH TEA TREE

Paired with New Zealand tea tree extract, it rounds out a formulation built to target the microbes behind the smell — the cause, not the symptom.

AFTERPLAY GEAR

MORE THAN FRESH GEAR.
SMARTER PROTECTION.

Warm, sweaty sports equipment creates the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and fungi — including microbes associated with athlete’s foot, ringworm, sports acne and pitted keratolysis.

AFTERPLAY GEAR is designed to go beyond masking odours, targeting microbial build-up at its source to help maintain cleaner, fresher equipment.

From boots and gloves to protective pads and shared sporting gear, AFTERPLAY GEAR supports better equipment hygiene between training sessions, matches and players.

Because taking care of your gear is part of taking care of your game.

READY WHEN YOUR GEAR IS.
